Document Storage 101: Easy Organization Tips from

Spicewood Super Storage

Label Everything Clearly

Use bold labels with categories, dates, or departments
to quickly identify contents without opening
every box.

Leave Aisles Between Stacks

Don’t fill the entire unit wall-to-wall. Leave narrow
paths between box stacks so you can reach every file
without having to unload all the boxes.

Group Documents by Type

Sort boxes into categories such as "Finance," "Legal,"
or "HR" to streamline access and minimize
confusion later.

Use Durable, Archive-Safe Boxes

Invest in quality banker boxes designed for long-term storage.
Flimsy containers collapse over time, causing messes. For
better climate consistency, consider switching to indoor storage.

What Our Document Storage Clients Say

Beautiful facility with several larger drive up units available that are hard to find elsewhere in the Spicewood/Marble Falls area (at least in my experience). The Staff is very prompt in responding to any questions, including when I can’t remember my gate code. I highly recommend Spicewood Super Storage for all of your storage needs. And it is very conveniently located on the 71 close to Opie’s BBQ which is always a good place to stop whether you’re coming or going to the storage unit!

Been renting a spot since 2021where we store a motorhome. Clean, everything works, never had a problem. New management is efficient and friendly Never considered another place This is my second review and the only addition I have is that they replaced the fire extinguisher box next to our unit with a brand new one The old one was used by someone a while back and there was really no need because there is another nearby That’s a sign of doing what is right Keep up the good work Al

Needed a secure storage location to hold all of our household items during a move from out of state. Found Spicewood Super Storage online and the prices were very competitive, the sign up process online could not have been easier and they had plenty of options. After reserving online, received a call from Dan in the office to make sure I had everything I needed and asking if I had any questions. Costumer service isn’t what it used to be at most places nowadays but Spicewood Super Storage really has great customer service and they were great. Highly recommend.

Any Confusion About Our Document Storage?

Let’s Clear That Up

Off-site storage helps declutter your space, improves organization, and enhances security, particularly for
records that are inactive or seldom used.

Use strong banker boxes, label everything clearly, and consider adding silica gel packs to absorb moisture.
Avoid overfilling boxes.

Yes, but use separate containers and protective cases for electronics to prevent damage. Label each container accordingly.

Nope. You can rent on a month-to-month basis, with options available for both long-term and short-term rentals.
Store your documents for as long—or as briefly—as needed.

Not at all. Each unit is individually locked and accessible only to you or those you authorize.

You can upgrade to a larger unit at any time, based on availability. We’ll help you make the transition as smooth as possible,
especially if you're adding vehicle storage or bundling with non-climate storage for other items.
